Payment

Please note that each lot is subject to a Buyer’s Premium of 15% on the hammer price.

Buyer’s Premium and applicable Canadian taxes are added to the hammer price.

Jones Auction House accepts payment by cash, certified cheque, Interac E-Transfers, and wire transfers in Canadian Dollars, or credit card.  Credit card purchases are limited to a maximum of $20,000 CAD and the credit card holder must be present at the time of payment or pay by secure link. Please note that we do not accept credit card payment over the telephone. Invoices paid by credit card may be subject to a 2.5% fee.

Pick Up

Purchases must be removed within 10 days of the date of sale. Pick up is typically scheduled for the week following the sale, Wednesday-Saturday 11-4, or by appointment.

Shipping

Our Auction House does not offer crating or shipping; the purchaser must designate and arrange for the services of an independent shipper and be responsible for all shipping and insurance expenses.

How does this work?

If you require shipping at the conclusion of the auction, please email us to designate your preferred shipper or courier and allowing them to retrieve your item from our gallery.

There are a range of packing and shipping companies. Our auction clients often work with UPS Store #200 Saint John; they provide fully inclusive packaging, insuring, and shipping options.

If you prefer to work with a fine art shipper or another courier, we are happy to have your item(s) ready for retrieval. Please note that your shipper may need to box or crate the item for shipping.

We provide dimensions in the lot listing for all items in our auction. Any courier should be able to provide you with a shipping estimate for your item and preferred destination. Please contact us if your shipping company requires additional information.
